Story

Dear friends,

Sunday  at 13.30 I finished the London-Cambridge roller-skating ride. 6 hours of skating 100 kilometres for the best cause I’ve been involved in so far: raising donations for the victims of the recent floods in North-East Romania.

It was a challenge, but a good challenge and in those few moments when I felt down I thought at the hope the donations can bring to the families which lost all their belongings in the floods. So I made it and it was worth it!

I want to say a big Thank You to all of you who donated so far and helped raising £1400.

The campaign goes on until Friday the 30th of July so those of you who didn’t get the time to donate until now, you still have a few days to offer your help by clicking on  "DONATE NOW" button. We all sometimes spend money on silly things and foget to give a little to the ones in need, it also happens to be to late to help someone but wish we did it, so now is the time to help a little and bring a big ray of light into the lives of the people of North-East Romania.

Inno

PS: Can I just say one more time a big big big thank you to everyone who supported me donating, ex work coleagues and friends, to the Relief Fund for Romania Limited for organising the collection, Ramona Mitrica from the Romanian cultural centre for organising the collection in such a short period of timed, to the Londonskate.com team for “training” sessions , to the www.romani.co.uk members for cheering for me (online), to the Roman in UK online newspaper for the support, and at last but not the least a big big thank you to Cristina Irimie for ... shall I say everything ?! ... actually for more than everything J

The list could go on and on , sorry if I have not listed everyone ...

_____________

Bellow is the original text  before the ride :

Most of you know that sometimes I get up to crazy things , some of you know that sometimes I get up to very crazy things . One of the most amazing adventures I ever signed up to will take place this Sunday: I will attempt to complete the to bike run but… I will be doing it on rollerskates.( yes that's right - Rollerskates - 60 miles !!! ).

Why rollerskating from to you’ll wonder? Why start in and finish in ? Because I am participating at an event organised by "Breakthrough Breast Cancer" charity. Each member involved in the project will support a cause.

I will be supporting the victims of the recent floods which covered entire parts of earlier in the month. Tens of thousands of people in the North-East part of have, overnight lost their homes, relatives, their belongings and were left in agony. They need support and as a Romanian I feel I ought to do something to raise money and try to help as many families as possible. Born and raised in , there is a part of my heart which will always be Romanian and I feel is it my duty to try and help.

So in their aid , crazy Inno has decided to complete this run with your support  .

I have set up the following page where you can make donations, so please donate -all your support is needed .

Donations can be made with any (major) credit / debit card and via pay pall.

This campaign is organised with the fantastic support of Relief Fund For Romania Limited who has kindly offered to manage the funds transfer to . The campaign is also a part of the broader project “ Give to the victims of the floods and bring them a ray of hope!”, which was launched two weeks ago by the romanian’s community website,
www.romani.co.uk, which I manage, the online Roman in UK publication and The Britannia Romanian restaurant in London.

So - show me how much you love me!
