Leeds Cancer Centre, part of the Leeds Cares family, diagnoses and treats cancer for the people of Leeds and the Yorkshire region. It is one of the largest cancer centres in the UK and provide some of the most up-to-date treatment, care and support for people with cancer.

Story

We are the leaders for the Leeds University Union RAG National Three Peaks Challenge. We are all keen for a challenge and want to raise money for our local cancer charity, The Yorkshire Cancer Centre.

On Monday 9th June we will be setting off to Scotland where we shall begin the grueling challenge of climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours!

In preparation for this we shall be going on training walks and even tackling the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Check out our participants pages each of which has a target of £300.

Things the Leaders have achieved already:

Climbed the Yorkshire Three Peaks in under 12 hours

Over 200 miles of training walks

Several thousand steps on a stepping machine

Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for donating to such a worthy cause
