Thank you to all who have pledged or already donated to Chestnut Tree. Our target £6,850 seems like a random figure plucked out of the air. It isn’t. Chestnut Tree needs £6,850 a day to run all the care services that they provide. They rely hugely on our donations as they only receive 7% of their income from central government.

We think it is increasingly important to show our supporters where their donations go and how they help to create wonderful and treasured experiences for the children and families who go to Chestnut Tree House.

£35 will enable a child to experience a magical hour in the multi-sensory room with a specially trained member of staff

£50 will give a child the opportunity to spend an hour benefiting from a swim in the hydrotherapy pool

£150 will allow a family of four to benefit from an overnight stay in one of our Family Rooms for much needed sleep whilst their child is cared for by our specially trained nurses.

£230 gives a child the chance to visit Chestnut for the day and enjoy our facilities and a range of activities

£250 allows the siblings of children with life-shortening conditions to attend an activity morning hosted by our therapists

£651 will allow a child to spend a night at Chestnut Tree House, where they will receive specialist care and symptom management from our nursing team and be able to enjoy the facilities which the hospice offers
