About the charity

The Intensive Care Society is the representative body in the UK for intensive care professionals and patients. The Society is dedicated to the delivery of the highest quality of critical care to patients in the UK. The Society awards grants for research, produces standards and guidelines, organises educational meetings and works closely with a number of medical organisations. The fundraising arm of the society is the Intensive Care Foundation we regularly organize fundraising event s to support research into improving the standard of critical care.
