29 mile walk for The Intensive Care Society · 19 March 2021

The Intensive Care Society is the UK's leading critical care body. We support the entire intensive care community as they care for the sickest of patients. We exist to improve the lives of those teams by providing research, guidance, education, wellbeing and a lot more...

Story

Following recent announcements from the government, we are moving this event to Friday 16 April so as to follow the guidelines

The treatment Matt and Harry received from the NHS Intensive Care Units was nothing short of life saving.

We want to say a small thank you and give something back for all of their efforts.

Matt went to ICU at the John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford and Harry to St Mary’s London.

On the Friday 16 April we will attempt to walk 48 kilometres (30 miles) for the NHS charity, the intensive care society.

30 miles is significant as it is the distance between Bovingdon and both hospitals. The journey Matt and Harry would have made after the crash.

Harry if possible will join us for the last part of our walk and we would welcome others to join.

Please give as much as you can for this amazing cause.
