Isle of Wight Challenge · 19 May 2012

Set up by a group of runners who have all been affected by cancer, Run 4 Cancer provides respite breaks for families living with cancer. We also make grants to cancer care institutions and fund research into the positive effects of exercise and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Along with team mates Tabs and Matt, I have taken the plunge and entered the daunting IOW challenge which will take place on the 19 May 2012 (this coming Saturday!!).

This challenge will consist of a gruelling:

 19 mile mountain bike ride;

  2 mile open canoeing; and

  8 mile running challenge.

This is a mammoth challenge for all of us (maybe not the Tabs machine)!!

We’re not just doing this for fun of course, we will be raising money for Sail4Cancer(http://www.sail4cancer.org/).

Our team target is set at a respectable £300, naturally we hope to smash this!.  We would therefore sincerely appreciate any donations be it a humble £1 or a humungous £100.

Thank you big time.
