Ipswich to Gibraltar cycle ride · 25 August 2009

We care for children & young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambs, Essex, Norfolk & Suffolk and support their families. This can be at home, in hospital or at one of three hospices at Milton, The Treehouse and The Nook. We rely on voluntary donations for the majority of our income.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Me and my dad (Alan Garwood) are going to be cycling to Gibraltar from our home town of Ipswich later this year to raise money for 2 charities. We each have a charity and I am raising money for East Anglia Children's Hospices, a local charity which is definatly a worthy cause.

The ride itself is about 1600miles and will see us cycling through Holland, Belgium, France and Spain in order to reach our destination, Gibraltar. It is estimated that the journey will take around a month starting on the 16th of august and finishing in Gibraltar before the 17th of september. It will be  massive achivement for me before heading off to university in October and I am hoping to raise ovr £1000 for my charity.

I will try my best to keep this page up to date with the route details as well as any additional information I get. Apart from that all I can say is please please please donate what you can, dig deep and support us in this challanging journey. £10 is amazing anymore even better but give what you can. £5, £2, £1, every little helps =)

Thanks
Ross Garwood
