I have pledged to raise £7000.00 for Islamic Relief's Orphan Fund, with the help of the Coventry IR Volunteers Team, and we are nearly there. A very special thank you to MesmerEyez.com for donating a massive £3000.00 towards this cause.

In 2008, I trekked to Mt. Everest Basecamp and raised £20,000 for the same cause (http://www.justgiving.com/k2orphans). I often remind myself of how many lives I must have saved, but since then, thousands of orphaned children have passed away. Now I ask myself, how many of these deaths could I have prevented???

I can't answer that question, but I know that if you help me raise £7000.00 this Ramadhan, we can change lives and give a better quality of life to those children who are less fortunate than us.
