Ireland cycle challenge · 9 February 2009

Acorns supports around 750 children and almost 1,000 families every year. The charity needs to raise £11 million each year to provide its lifeline care. Your support means Acorns can continue to be there for local families facing the unimaginable. Together, we are stronger.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

The challenge: -  Cycle from Malin Head which is the most Northern point of Ireland to Mizen Head which is the most south westerly point of Ireland. In 6 adventure packed days.

Why: - An ideal opportunity to raise much needed cash for a very worthy cause

When: - The ride will start on April 6th and take approx 5-6 days (maybe quicker? but quite probably not)

The distance is 450 miles the cost in pounds to care for one child in a Acorns Hospice for a day!!

You can keep up to date with our "preparation" and the journey itself at http://jimgarybigbikechallenge.blogspot.com/ which will include all manner of exciting updates and maybe, just maybe, some more photos as disturbingly erotic as the one on this page. You never know.
