Flora London Marathon 2006 · 23 April 2006 ·

Our vision is that patients with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses in our area can choose how and where they want to be cared for towards the end of life. We provide 24/7 responsive Hospice at Home care and support for all the family during the illness and through bereavement.

Story

My name is Kim and at 41 years old, I will be achieving a life time ambition and feel honoured to have the opportunity.

To make the occasion more special I will be raising funds for the IRHH and I will be dedicating my run to Jean Hill a “nice lady” who worked as a volunteer in the Tring IRHH shop.

Jean was a much valued friend and colleague to all who worked and shopped there.

My Saturday visits will never be quite the same again. Jean was always encouraging in my quest to run the London Marathon and gave me lots of encouragement to keep trying. I know she would have been delighted at my, albeit late, entry.

This one is for you Jean!
