This will be my first London Marathon.  I started running only 18 months ago, however I have always enjoyed watching the London Marathon and decided that as I have recently turned 50 then this would be the year to take up the challenge and take part.  My friend and colleague Rob Bunyan has inspired me into running the – he has run it several times before.

I am also friends with the Director of Nursing at the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home and know what a wonderful job the nurses do. The care they provide is given free of charge and will therefore rely heavily on the generosity of individuals.

I am taking on a huge personal challenge, please make all this worth while by sponsoring me.

Thank very much for your support
