At 6 a.m on Sunday 7th Sept 2008, we will be entering the cold cold water in the lake of Sherbourne Castle to begin our 140.6 mile  UK IRONMAN journey. A 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile cycle ride, followed by a mere 26.2 mile full marathon run. All in aid of residents of Rossendale Trust, Adults with learning difficulties. Please watch our You Tube video we have posted on this site and you will see a remarkable fete, by a real Ironman in every sense of the word. (you may cry, we did ! be happy).  We may not be as tough as this guy but we CAN attempt to complete this for the same reason. You CAN help, every donation CAN make a difference, pounds or pence CAN put smiles on faces at Rossendale.
