On the 22nd July 2012 I am taking part in the UK Ironman triathlon at Bolton to raise money for Ashgate Hospice and the M S Society. 

The event starts with a 2.4 mile swim in a lake then a 112 mile cycle ride and finally a 26.2 mile marathon to finish, all within 16 hours. But just to make things more difficult I am doing the marathon run at the end dressed as Scooby Doo!

The MS Society provides vital help, support and advice for those affected by this condition. All money I raise will go to the local Chesterfield and District branch.
