My story

Thank you to everyone who sponsored us and wished us well. We both had a fantastic day and thanks to our training achieved much better times than we hoped for. Thanks once again for supporting us and helping us to raise money for Help for Heroes!

Emma & Sue

On 28 June 2009 Sue and I will be taking part in the Ironman France event. This consists of a 3.8 km sea swim, followed by a 180 km bike ride, and finished off by a marathon! We will be spending the next few months following a rigorous training programme in order to prepare ourselves both mentally and physically for this. We have decided to raise money for Help for Heroes as this is a charity that means a lot to us. We would appreciate any sponsorship that you can offer us.
