Hi, thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Yep, it's true, I'm going to be doing the London 10k run on the 12th of July in support of the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity. Rainbow Trust are the official charity for this years Asics British 10K London Run, why not join in the fun and come along to take part, then you too can get fit and raise money for this or any other great cause.
Rainbow Trust Children's Charity provides practical and emotional support to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness, they support 1,000's of families each year. Standing by as an adult suffers from a life threatening or terminal illness can be a very difficult time for both the person and their close family and friends, however, I cant help but feel that its just so much more tragic when its a young child, I couldn't even begin to imagine how I would feel as the parent..., this is the reason I have chosen to run in support of this particular charity. I think that they provide some vital support at a very critical time for many families, the more children and families they can help the better.
I would like to support The Rainbow Trust do this by raising as much money as I possibly can and I know that times are hard for many on the disposable cash front, but needless to say that the penny's make pounds!!
