We are the world’s largest charity dedicated to saving lives through research. Our vision is to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Cancer Research UK is a registered charity in England and Wales (1089464), Scotland (SC041666), the Isle of Man (1103) and Jersey (247).

Story

Isaac (Gareth and Sonya's son) was only 15 months old when his battle with Germ Cell Cancer began. His response to his first set of treatment and surgery was fantastic but sadly at 22 months old this dreadful disease returned. Sadly on 4th September Isaac passed away.

Isaac's fight and determination was amazing and the support received by the family has been incredible. For this we are truly grateful.

Cancer is devasting to anyone, let alone someone so young as Isaac and to help so that in the future others do not have to go through what Isaac and his family have, we wish to raise money for the amazing charity Cancer Research UK.

Sonya along with family and friends will be challenged on 21st September to climb Snowdon, cycle the 14mile route around Lake Vyrnwy and then finishing by canoeing down the River Severn from Montford Bridge to Shrewsbury all in one day!!!

Gareth will then be taking part as a team in the Tough Mudder challenge in Cheshire on Saturday 5th October.  This is a gruelling 20km assault course through mud!!  The event itself is being held in support for Help for Heroes and each team member has already personally contributed their entrance fee to this charity, therefore all donations received will go to Cancer Research UK.

Unfortunately we have all been touched in some way either personally or through a family member/friend by cancer and I'm sure you'd agree the work carried out by this charity is phenomenal.  It really could change lives now and in the future!

We appreciate times are tough but ask that you consider a donation even if it's a small one.  Every single pound raised makes such a huge difference and the treatment and care Isaac received was only possible because of the donations these charities receive to support much needed research.

Thanks for taking the time to read our page, and together we really can make a difference!

Isaac was truly an amazing and inspirational little boy. Rest in peace our little angel xxx
