Update: 10/08/09....

I am now back in serious training after a lot of celebrating...I am now the BIG 40! 

I completed the 2 x 10K runs in May, both within 58 minutes.  The Great North is now only 6 weeks away and I am up to 90 minutes with my training...I have also signed up for the Coventry Half Marathon in October, so the total for my races this year will be nearly 40 miles...Not bad hey!

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

This year is a big year for me...I know it is hard to believe, however I am going to be 21 oops...40! 

During this year I am going to be doing a lot of Celebrating so to keep me fit I am doing a Marathon, well nearly!! It is just in a number of runs,  2 x 10K's (1 in Manchester and 1 in Coventry)  in May and then the Big one for me, the Great North Run in September...I have never done it before and am really looking forward to the challenge.  I have heard that the atmosphere on the day is fantastic so it should be brilliant!

I was able to get a place in the Manchester & Great North Run via The Graham Fulford Charitable Trust...which is a Charity that I have Run for a couple of times before.  They do fantastic work, as detailed on the left of this page.  I would therefore like to ask for your support to help raise money for them to continue with this...Any amount , large or small, will be very much appreciated by myself, the Charity and of course those that are helped by the testing The Graham Fulford Charitable Trust carry out....
