ABSEIL EVENT IN MEMORY OF ISABEL - 6th SEPTEMBER 2009
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page in memory of Isabel Anna Tilley Butcher.
What a day ! The sun was shining and we were blessed with not one but three rainbows. And one of them was upside down - smiling at us ! No doubt Isabel was at work again !!!
Jamie Euesden, Kirsty Golden and Michael Higginson joined John in abseiling down the Romford YMCA. All four were dressed as ladybirds as were a number of our supporters on the day. it really felt like a carnival. Photos will appear in the next week or so on our own website.
Between the 4 abseilers over £2000 has been raised in support of First Step. A great big thank you to all of you that supported this amazing event - the generousity and time given is truely appreciated by Nikki, John and their families.
First Step gave Isabel the chance to develop her skills and abilities as well as helping her have the best possible start in life.
We will always be grateful for the level of support they have shown us as parents and the many friends we have made through First Step.
We will continue to support First Step, along with the CLIMB and COSMIC charities, in memory of an incredible little girl who continues to be much loved and missed by all her family and friends.
