Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This year I'm swimming the Aspire Channel Swim and aiming (obviously!) to raise as much money as possible, and anything you could contribute would be massively appreciated.

Aspire is a national charity providing practical support, funding and advice to people with spinal cord injuries in the UK and Ireland so that they can lead fulfilled and independent lives in their homes, with their families, in work-places and leisure time. Any amount of money, small or large, will make a difference. If we only manage £250 between us, it would be enough to buy SmartNav technology for a PC to enable someone with a high level spinal injury to use a computer without the use of their hands - something that could make an enormous difference to somebody's life.

So please help make a difference, and donate now. Thank you.
