BUPA Great Manchester Run 2008 · 18 May 2008 ·

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

In 2007 I managed the BUPA Great Manchester 10km run in 1 hour 3 minutes and 12 seconds. In 2008 due to a twisted ankle picked up the week before on Pendle Hill, my race time was 1 hour 4 minutes and 16 seconds. As you can see your efforts have already exceeded the 2007 total (£285). Training is now underway for 2009.

In Jan 2008, to celebrate my retirement as SWO and move to No 5 (RAFP) Sqn (Valley Detachment), Abby and Netty in the Coffee shop worked very hard and talked me into seeing what  was behind the Tash after 32 years of growth (Scary), what a voyage of discovery !! Apparently it makes me look younger.............. The the jury is still out, do I grow it back or go for the younger look? Post your votes and cash here to let me know what you think.
