A significant part of my new role with Innovista will be developing Thrive so as to make an even bigger impact in disadvantaged communities. Thrive teams want to see communities thrive as young people experience hope and change. Thrive teams work in places that are often written off and ignored (the first team is in Barton, a council estate in Oxford) helping young people discover hope and lasting change.

Team members live in the community, sharing life with youngsters and journeying with them. Committed to long-term service and whole community impact, Thrive aims to inspire and equip young people to transform their communities.

An initiative of Innovista, Thrive are aiming to increase their capacity and widen their impact amongst young people who didn't get a headstart in life.
