We support people with Spinal Cord Injury to help them live full, independent lives

Story

Dave is on a mission. In August 2013, Dave and the rest of the Aspire Puffins will be following in the wake of the greatest channel swimmers in history. He and his team will be swimming across the busiest shipping lane in the world – the English Channel! From Dover to Calais, Dave will be butting heads (and other parts of his body) with jelly fish, oil slicks, cruise liners and freighters in order to raise funds for Aspire, the spinal injury charity. There have been less successful crossings of the English Channel than successful Ascents of Mount Everest, so dig deep and donate and be a part of this great adventure.

Every four hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.
