Story
Hi, I'm Kate! I have Cystic Fibrosis.
My nickname is Kitten and there's a game I like to play to raise awareness of CF. Yup...it's pretty stupid...it involves sticking Kitten stickers all over everything! It started with sticking kittens on my friends handbags, bikes, wallets, cars and if possible directly onto my friends. I then graduated to 'Kittening' random people in the pub, cinema, out and about at fundraising events! Once people have been 'Kittened' I stamp www.ivebeenkittened.com on their hand, explain what I am up to and in their own time they can head to my website to find out more about Cystic Fibrosis. Then if they want to, they can be directed here to donate. It's a great way to raise awareness and it allows the individual to decide if they want to donate, in their own time, without any pressure to do so.
If you've been Kittened - and you like what it stands for - please donate anything at all - even £2. It doesn't matter, this is not about the amount this is about awareness and raising funds for a cure. Every bit helps.
