Survival of the Fittest · 10 October 2009

CLAPA is the national UK charity supporting people affected by cleft lip and palate. We provide specialist feeding equipment, trusted information, one‑to‑one and online support, youth services, and community events, while raising awareness and championing better cleft care for all.

Story

Hi Guys

On October the 10th we are taking part in the Men's Health Survival of the Fittest.

I have attached a link so you can see exactly what it's all about but to summarise for you it's a 10k run (nearer to 12k actually so I'm told)  with 10 obstacles along the way, for example jumping over hay bales, an army assault course, running up and down the stairs of nottingham forest football stadium and climbing a 10 foot wall. Eek!

By doing this we are raising money for CLAPA (cleft lip and palate association) and also the Royal Marsden Cancer campaign which are the captain at the golf club (where we all work)'s chosen charities for this year.
We have already raised over £1200 so far from members donations alone.
If you would like to sponsor us that would be absolutely amazing and will give us the boost we are feeling we need at the moment to get to that finish line.

Thank you and much love
