I plan to run the Chester Half Marathon which takes place on the 15th May 2016. I hope to raise money for the Alder Hey Children's Charity. My daughter Nina was born with dilated kidneys, the left one was quite severe which if left untreated the likely result would of been kidney damage. Nina has had two operations and various scans, stents and procedures along the way all expertly carried out at Alder Hey for which I will be forever grateful. Nina's latest ultra sound images (December 2015) were very positive, so much so that her next appointment is in 2017
