Story

Hi everyone!

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for SOS Africa! The charity was founded by one of my tutors, Matt Crowcombe, currently doing his PhD in politics. We will be dressing up but the theme is yet to be decided - the event is really just for fun to raise money for a good cause: to provide education for children in the poorest areas of South Africa.

My target is £550, as this is the amount of money one year of education and healthcare costs per child. To see a breakdown of this figure please visit http://www.sosafrica.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=25&Itemid=44

My reason for doing this is the nagging feeling that I should do more for  charity, a feeling i'm sure a lot of people experience. Giving to a cause such as this is a brilliant way to help. To read about the impact SOS Africa has had on many childrens lives please visit the following link - through donating you are allowing this help to continue. http://www.sosafrica.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=27&Itemid=46

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: SOS Africa gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
