We have decided to help raise money for the Childrens Hospice South West ( CHSW ).

 

CHSW care for children who have illnesses which mean they will die before reaching adulthood.  Jackie went to see the facilities in January 2009 and realised what a wonderful place the hospice is.  It is like a cross between an upmarket hotel and a specialised hospital.  The hospice provides expert support and care to children, their parents and their well siblings who are faced with difficult and tragic circumstances - but it is so much more than that.  It is a place which offers families respite and provides them with opportunities to enjoy themselves using the facilities and activities available.

When we look at our own two children we realise how lucky we all are and would like to offer some small help to people who are not as fortunate.
