My story
As you are aware, Jack sadly passed away on Sunday January 8th 2012.
Jack suffered from a condition known as Glioma, which is more commonly referred to as a 'brain tumour'.
Whilst he lived to the ripe old age of 87 years and 11 months, many suffering from the same illness won't be anywhere near as lucky.
It is on their behalf we would like to raise money and awareness in order to ensure they are accorded the highest levels of care, and are able to take advantage of the medical advances this fundraising exercise will help provide.
As you will all know, Jack was a hugely charitable man and will have been honoured to raise money for such a worthwhile cause.
Jack will be sorely missed by us all, but let's make his legacy live on as long as possible by helping others whose lives are threatened by this condition.
Please follow in Jack's footsteps and give as generously as you can.
With many thanks from all the McNamara familty.
God bless, and may he rest in pease.
My charity
Ali's Dream
Charity Registration No. 1089065
Ali's Dream charity was set up by Alison Phelan's family and friends in order to raise money to fund research into discovering the causes, advancing treatments and finding cures for childhood brain tumours. Sadly this was spurred on by the loss of Alison at the beginning of June 2001.
