On 30th December 2009,  I lost my mother Shirley Green (46) to Ovarian Cancer, and my son Jack (9) has decided he would like to carry on raising some money for her chosen charity 'Ovarian Cancer Action', in her memory.

He has entered himself for the Titchmarsh 3K Run, and hopes that everyone will sponsor him, even just £1 would make such a difference to this charity.

Jack will be taking part in lots more fundraising events, and really appreciates all the support from everyone. You may not know Jack, but what he is trying to achieve is quite amazing...he simply wants people to be more aware of Ovarian Cancer and the symptoms, and he wants to help women like his granny.
