As some of you may be aware I am a member of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award Forum.  For a week in July I will be going with this group of young people to Gambia.

Not only will this expeditition help me achieve my Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award but also it will give me the opportunity to help the people of Gambia and learn something about their culture first hand.

At the moment our actual project has yet to be confirmed, but we have been told we will probably be going to repair a school or help people of our own age.

 Anyway, to get out there to help people we need to raise the money. I would greatly appreciate any donations you are willing to make, no matter how small. And remember it is going to a good cause.
