I am delighted to report I finished the marathon in 3:54!!  I'm so pleased with myself!

Regardless of the time though, just completing the marathon is a marvellous achievement and to see so many people running for fantastic causes was great and the atmosphere out of this world.  So thanks to everyone that turned up to support.

On the fundraising note I've stormed through the £1800 target, so thanks to everyone that has donated. For those that wanted to see me cross the finish line first, please do go ahead and donate now. 

For the young people who rely on ChildLine as a lifeline, or just for someone they can turn to, the money raised so far means so much to them.  It costs £1598 to recruit and train a ChildLine Counsellor, £42 to actually counsel a young person and just £4.00 to answer that initial call - I’ll let you do the maths here to work out how your efforts over the last few months have been more than just a personal challenge but also a lifeline of support for the young people who need ChildLine to be there for them.
