Our mission is · to provide an effective and efficient charitable first aid service to local communities · to provide training and products to satisfy first aid and related health and safety needs for all of society · to encourage personal development for people of all ages, through training and by membership of our organisation.

My story

On 15th March I will be taking on the adidas Silverstone Half Marathon, ahead of dragging myself through the big one, the London marathon on 26 April. I know, this doesn't sound like the Jac you or I know.

I would really appreciate if you could find it in your hearts and wallets to sponsor me and donate to the St John Ambulance. Their work regularly saves lives and could well save mine on 26 April. To read more about their work, please visit http://www.sja.org.uk/sja/

I am aiming to complete the marathon. My target is to do that within April. If you do sponsor me, please put an estimated time down and the closest guess will win a bottle of bubbly. No need to humour me with decent times, aim high!
