15th December 2009 will be the 20th anniversary of my brother Brian's death. From now until then I will be fundraising in his memory. I believe the most positive and appropriate way to remember him is to be of service to others in need by supporting a charity.
I will be holding lots of fundraising events both personally, at work and at my local church. My family in Scotland are also doing their own fundraising events.
I successfully completed the 2009 adidas Women's 5K Challenge on Sunday 6th September in Hyde Park, London.
The charity I am fundraising for is Mary's Meals, a wonderful charity which provides free school meals and other essential help to some of the world's poorest children. It costs just £6.15 to feed a child in Malawi for a year so your donation could make a real difference to the life of a needy child.
