Hays employees are taking on the Power Peaks challenge for Together for Short Lives to help raise vital funds towards their '6,000 Hours of Care Appeal', supporting the crucial work of children's hospice services across the UK.

Those of you who know me will know that 26 miles is a huge thing for me to do, I have never attempted anything even close to this. As someone who regularly takes the lift over the stairs (even for a few floor) my fitness level is zero. Over the next few weeks and months I will be pushing myself to meet this target and promise to work at it twice as hard with all of your support!

My aim is to raise at least £600 for this fantastic charity who support young people all over the UK who are living with live shortening or life threatening diseases. With your help, we can help to change the lives of children that have very complex and unpredictable conditions and often need round the clock care, seven days a week.
