ADRA-UK is part of the ADRA Network, a global humanitarian organisation that demonstrates God’s love and compassion. We enable women, men and children living in some of the world’s poorest communities to create sustainable pathways out of poverty and distress.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

I am cycling from London to Paris to raise £1,200 for children in need. Yes, that's right, me who hasn't cycled since school, me, who made up all sorts of excuses to avoid PE lessons and all other physical activities and me who, right now, is totally scared of the 6 months of training & fundraising that are ahead of me...

But 25,000 children die each day mainly from preventable causes. These children are not dying from incurable diseases or causes. These children are dying from diarrhea, pneumonia, measles and malaria—things that cost pennies to treat or prevent. So I have decided to make a difference through my chosen charity ADRA (who I supported most of my life).

100% of the money donated will be going to charity. My expenses will be paid for by myself and the organization 2500spins.
