JAIME VICTORIA BENTLEY Our eldest daughter died very suddenly on the 30th April 2002 aged 11 years and 11days Jaimes Fund was set up to initially raise money for Pendlebury Childrens Hospital where Jaime was briefly a patient. Two highly specialised incubators called 'baby pods' were purchased our way of saying thank you for the kindness and compassion shown to both Jaime and all her family. The fund has since raised over £50k and contributed to a range of projects in the local area, all of which bear Jaimes name. Most recently the fund has contributed £12k to create and equip a research centre and library at Woodhouses Primary School where Jaime was a pupil. The fund will this year be raising money in partnership with Manchester Kids for a variety of projects in and around the Manchester area aimed at helping underprivileged children.
