The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am going to try to climb Mt Kilimanjaro in the first week of October using the challenging Lemosho route. It's not a technical climb but it is high (just under 20,000 ft - or 5 days up..look out for me on  www.kilicam.com) and while the altitude will be challenging, I am determined to make it to the summit.

Why? Because I am climbing to raise money for a cause which is very dear to Adi and I, The National Autistic Society. Many of you know our beautiful and extraordinary son Caspar who, together with an estimated 1 in 100 children, is on the autistic spectrum. Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects the way a person communicates and relates to people around them.

The National Austistic Society champions the rights and interests of all people with autism and aims to provide individuals with autism and their families with help, support and services that they can access, trust and rely upon and which can make a positive difference to their lives.

So please wish me luck, dig deep and thank you in advance for your support.
