In memory of Jake Lucas David Kershaw

11th August 2006 - 5th September 2008

Taken from us too soon

'A million times I will miss you

A million times I will cry

If love alone could have saved you

You never would have died'

Jake died suddenly at home from an undiagnosed cerebellar astrocytoma brain tumour in September 2008 aged just 2 years and 3 weeks.  Jake was undergoing tests but had only displayed some of the symptoms of a brain tumour so was never sent for an MRI scan.

Jake was a wonderful son and big brother and would light up a room when he walked in it.  He brought joy to everybody he met.  The hole left in all our lives is immense.

Hopefully with the aid of your donations more research into brain tumours in children can be done and more children will be diagnosed in time to receive treatment.

With thanks

Carly, David & Charlie
