We are embarking upon a three day trek through the lava fields of Iceland in order to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. In order to do this we will need to undertake six months of training to ensure we have attained a suitable degree of fitness to complete the trek.

Over 750,000 people in the UK currently suffer from dementia of which more than 18,000 are under the age of 65. The Alzheimer's Society raise money not only for research into the disease, but also to help care for those who are affected.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: the Alzheimer's Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
