I am ambitiously undertaking a 2000 mile bike ride from Sheffield, England to Praia Da Luz in Algarve.

I will be cycling across England, France and Spain to Praia Da Luz, Portugal over the course of three weeks in September, which obviously does not include the week I will need to recover.

On reading this some of you will think that I have gone completely mad and that I am not getting any younger but to be honest there comes a time when you have to give something back and this is it for me.  

I will be raising funds for Cancer Research UK as this charity helps so many people, and we all know someone who has been affected by cancer.  So if you can help please, please, please sponsor me, it's for a fantastic cause.
