Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am sure that I have bored you already about this trip, it has been a while in planning.
A few of us decided to do this trip last December, then after watching the comic relief team reach the summit and after a few bottles of wine we stupidly decided to select one of the hardest routes up Killy, which still still seems like a good idea but I am sure won't seem so sensible come October 1st. As well as some difficult trekking, it involves some actual climbing which as none of us are experienced climbers (or really inexperienced climbers!) will be a bit of challenge. Oh well, only 3 people have died this year on this route.
It is for an amazing cause. If you don't know about War Child already, please check out their web site - www.warchild.org.uk. I know that there are an incredible amount of worthy charities out there trying to get your hard earned money, but really there can't be many more deserving then this one. It is close to my heart as I am one of its trustees - that means that I see the amazing work that your cash will do. By donating to this charity there will be children that will survive and start to lead normal, productive lives in the war torn countries within which War Child operates - no pressure.
I am sure you know about JustGiving but donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to War Child and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for War Child.
So please dig deep and donate now.
