7 Summits Antarctica - Mount Vinson · 23 July 2014

Our projects provide food and income for communities, tackling poverty today. They also offer long-term change, improving the environment and soil fertility and tackling the effects of the climate crisis, for tomorrow. Thank you for your support.

Story

On 16 January thus year I climbed Mt Vinson - the highest mountain in Antarctica - thereby completing the 7 summits. Fewer than 50 Brits have accomplished this feat. The height of Vinson is 4892m and that's the sum I am hoping to raise for Tree Aid. Please take a couple of minutes to look at the video on this page and see why I raise money for Tree Aid. Many thanks!

Tree Aid tackles poverty and protects Africa's dry lands. It helps poor communities to become self-reliant by using the potential of trees to reverse environmental decline. In improving the life chances of distressed communities, Tree Aid helps them to face a sustainable future for generations to come.
