Yep, astonishing as it may seem I will be competing in the London Triathlon on 1st August. Of course, I use the word "competing" loosely as I don't expect to cross the finishing line first.... second will suffice.

For those folk based out of Kettering you will all know just how hard I have been training and now I am asking for your financial support as well as moral support for a very worthy cause.

I am hoping to raise at least £400 for the Kettering Riding School for the disabled. This is a fantastic local charity comprising a network of volunteers who provide riding experiences to mentally and physically disabled children from 5 local schools. In addition to their ongoing running costs they have a fantastic project to build an all weather facility to enable them to continue with activities irrespective of the British weather.
