BLISS
Bliss is the UK charity that cares for premature and sick babies. We are dedicated to ensuring that babies survive and go on to have the best possible quality of life. We provide practical and emotional support for families during an extremely difficult time, so they can give the best care to their babies. Our specialist study days and training supports doctors and nurses to develop their skills. We fund research to improve the care of all sick and premature babies. We raise awareness of the issues affecting special care babies and fight for essential change within government and the NHS.

Hello

Thanks for taking the time to sponsor me in the 2008 Flora London Marathon.

I am raising money for the premature baby charity BLISS in memory of my late son Max and for my two nieces Lily and Sophia who were both premature and had a very difficult start to their lives (although you couldn't tell by looking at them now. They could probably give Paula Radcliffe a run for her money).

Please pass on the link to this website to anyone who would be sympathetic to this worthy cause as I'd like to exceed my fundraising target by some margin.

Right. I'd better go for a run. Hang on...it's freezing out there!
