Story

Hey guys, Thankyou very much for looking at my page. I know its the Credit Crunch and all but let me tell a little story. Monday 19th January, I went to London to sign me officially into the marathon and meet Jeans for Genes. You know that researchers say that with £20 million you can pay for enough research to CURE 4 genetic condtions. I know it sounds alot but compare it to the costs of other charities and our help can really make a difference. It won me over. It hope it captures you too.

Jeans for Genes aims to change the world for children affected by genetic disorders.

Genetic disorders have symptoms which range from cleft lips, which are relatively easy to correct with surgery, to extremely painful blood disorders like sickle cell anaemia.

These conditions are caused by tiny differences in a child’s genes.

Jeans for Genes helps to provide much needed help, support and information for children and their families. They also invest in ground-breaking research to establish the causes of these conditions and how they can be treated.

There are more than 4,000 recognised genetic disorders and many more that doctors have yet to give a name to.

Research is vital in understanding what causes genetic disorders and how they can be treated.  Funding from Jeans for Genes is helping scientists across the country to carry out research into a wide range of disorders.

I kindly ask you for help me with this cause so please sponser me in my 1ST MARATHON RUN.

Many thanks!

James
