We support the thousands of patients and families at Sheffield Children’s, from across the UK and beyond, by funding the life-changing and the joy-sparking. We make clinical care kinder, and bad days brighter. We bring play, laughter and comfort to places where they’re needed the most.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me.

I will be doing the following (subject to getting entry) all in aid of the The Children's Hospital Charity:

            Sheffield 10k race - 10k run around Sheffield - April 2010

Swaledale Marathon - The route is 37.3km (23.2 miles) long with 3586ft of ascent. June 2010

The BUPA Great North Run - The world's biggest half marathon  - September 2010

Plus between now and then I am on a weight loss program, so if you want to sponsor me to lose weight in aid of the Children's Hospital then please do, I will make regular weekly updates on the blog and twitter, and abide by the rules set! *

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Children's Hospital Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now! The more raised the more help we can give, please see the current list of projects the charity is running to raise money to help the children it helps. http://tinyurl.com/ldtgcu

Many thanks for your support.

2 additional trips buy one additional 'bad thing' if wanted.

Any weight gained is fined at £10 per 1lb gained

Weeks run from Saturday to Friday, weigh in is Sunday mornings, blog and twitter to be updated. Progress to be checked by Jim Chisholm and Louise Mackrell.

All fines are donated to the Children's Hospital.
