Story

I'm James and I am 15.

For autistic people, the world can be a confusing and scary place. That's often because people who don't have autism don't know anything about it. I know all about this because I have Asperger's Syndrome, a type of autism.

It doesn't always look like it but people with autism are usually trying their best... but they get things wrong. When I get things wrong or need help and I tell people I have autism, some people don't believe me, because you can't see autism. But people who have heard of it usually give me a chance.

So I want everyone to know a bit about autism...  and that's what the National Autistic Society is trying to do

You don't need to be an expert. I don't need much help. You just need to treat me like you would if I had a disability that you can see...

Half of the money I raise will go to the National Autistic Society and half to my local branch of the National Autistic Society (Swindon). They are paying for the skydive.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
