For those of you who know me well you will probably be very suprised to learn that I am going to be doing a 10 day walk along the great wall of china!

Excersise is not normally a word you would associate with me, unless it involves a long walk to a bar to get the drinks in, or a quick stroll to the kebab van!

As some of you are probably aware this year has not been a great one and both my dad and grandfather passed away with cancer.

Marie Curie is a great charity who provide nurses to help look after cancer patients in their own home. They work through the night or during the day to provide care for patients in the comfortable and familiar surroundings of their own home.

Both my dad and grandfather relyed on their support during thee final days of their lives and I know that their help was greatly received by my mum and gran.

It is for this reason (oh and I need to lose some weight) that I have decided to do a 10 day sponsored walk of the great wall of china.  My fundraising target is £2500 and it all helps, no matter how small!
