New Forest Marathon 2009 · 27 September 2009 ·

We’re an anti-poverty charity & community of food banks, working together to ensure no one in the UK needs a food bank, while providing practical support for people left without enough money. (Please note we're unable to forward funds onto individual food banks, funds raised here go to Trussell)

Story

Well I did it! I ran it in 5 hours and 7 minutes, on a glorious day in the New Forest (a little too glorious at times as it did get very hot). It was an amazing experience and I won't say I loved every minute but the good bits certainly outweighed the bad.

Thank you everyone who supported me, both in turning up on the day and cheering me on and just as importantly those of you who helped with raising such a lot of money for such a good cause. Thank you all.

You can still make donations on this page. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Trussell Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
