Just a little about the cycle and cause

The Event - The five of us are going to cycle from St John O Groat (Top of Scotland) to Lands End (Bottom of England). Its over 850 miles and we are going to do it in no more the 9 days. this will be started on the29th september 08.

The cause -  Our dad and uncle Jimmy Hill was a stroke victim and the Association were wonderfully supportive.  With the help of my two cousins Tully and Declan and my two brothers David and Stephen we want to give something back hence the bike run.  Please remember ALL your donations go to the Stroke Association. The cost of the bike run itself is being paid for by us.

Every year, an esimated 150,000 in the uk have a stroke. That's one person every 5 minutes. Most people affected are over the age of 65 but anyone can have a stroke, including children and even babies.

Stroke is the third most common cause of death in the UK. It is also a lending cause of serve adult disability. More then 250,000  people in the UK live with disabilities caused by a stroke.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Stroke Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
